Demand For Heat From Scandinavia

At the end of 2009 the company JSC “P. Varkojis ir Co.” started manufacturing triple-pane windows to ensure the maximum level of heat insulation.

Due to the increasing number of inquiries for warmer triple-pane windows from Scandinavia, “P. Varkojis ir Ko” at the end of 2009 began the production of a Scandinavian type window with three panes.

The appearance of new windows stays unchanged, but the thermal properties increase by 30%. From the previous manufactured window, the new window differs in sashes and the thickness of glass. The current window is made with 68 mm thick sash. The new window allows a possibility to put a 34 mm thick glazing unit with three panes – two of which are selective. The window jamb is left unchanged – 118 mm thick.

The thermal conductivity of the new window is U = 1.1 which is confirmed by the certificate of conformity.
